Position Objectives:

The Accountant is responsible for:

• Timely and accurate accounting monthly reports with variance analysis

• Ensuring timely and accurate authorised payment of suppliers, tax authorities and employees

• Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations

• Assisting the Direct Report in ad hoc project work including the implementation of a new accounting system in 2011

Position Mission:

The Accountant providing timely and accurate reporting and execution of financial and tax matters to both internal and external recipients

Key Dimensions Influenced or Controlled by Position:

The Accountant is:

• Part of the accounting and administration team reporting directly to the Controller.

• To adhere to and promote the Company’s finance and administration procedures.

Key Relationships:

The Accountant will report directly to the Controller

Internal:

The Accountant communicates:

• Directly with the Controller; and

• Directly and indirectly with Accounts Assistant and other company employees as appropriate.

External:

The Accountant communicates:

• Directly with external service providers including accounting providers, bankers, information technology consultants;

• Indirectly with suppliers.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monthly management reports with variance analysis against budget

• Prepare Half Yearly accounting reports in accordance with accounting standards

• Assist in the completion of budget and forecasts

• Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations

• Coordinate weekly forecasts

• Authorising payment of suppliers, tax authorities and employees

• Liaising with controller and advisors for the completion of DIPJ tax returns and yearly audit

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and half yearly tax forms

• Supervise the accounts assistant and ensure accounting and administration processes and procedures are followed.

• Coordinate the payroll function

• Coordinate with the Accounts assistant to ensure payroll files are organised, secure and kept confidential, accurate timesheets received on a timely basis, up to date register of equipment held by employees

• Assisting the Direct Report in ad hoc project work including the implementation of a new accounting system in 2011

• Assist in promoting and monitoring the company’s safety management system.

Authority Levels:

The Accountant has a delegated authority as set out in the company Delegation Authority Matrix.

Position Profile:

The Accountant will have:

• At least 5 years work experience with preferably some mining experience

• A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in accounting;

• Demonstrate excellent computer skills in word, excel and outlook and accounting systems.

• Some systems implementation experience preferable but not essential

• Demonstrate a suitable safety and environmental culture

• Bilingual in Portuguese and English

• Will be self reliant with ability to problem solve

• Will be reliable and honest

• Will be well organised and good ability to prioritise

Quantum Human Capital, a subsidiary of Nexxus Holding, is starting a search for a newly created company in Brazil in the Tire business, of three OTR and Industrial Sales Representatives.

As an OTR and Industrial tire Sales Representative you will sell new tires and related products and services for a Master dealer company in Brazil. Duties include but are not limited to the following:

- Managing current customer accounts and regional sales agents/dealers.
- Actively seeking new accounts and represents the company to potential customers.
- Developing and maintaining a thorough knowledge of products and services to provide accurate information to customers.
- Selling company supported products and services.
- Meeting established sales and gross profit goals.
- Evaluating customer needs and making recommendations utilizing the "marketing approach to selling."
- Preparing weekly sales plans and completing all call reports following established company procedures.
- Attending sales training and continually working to improve sales skills.
- Implementing marketing programs to solicit new clients through cold calls, organizations, referrals, etc.
- Conducting fleet needs evaluations and providing customers with cost analysis and benefits.
- Maintaining company property in accordance with company policy.

This position operates in all types of indoor and outdoor work environments, therefore exposure to heat and cold is to be expected. Continuous travel within Brazil is an important part of this position duty.
Excellent safety and attendance performance is expected.

Requirements
- Must be willing to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
- Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.
- Must be a self-starter and willing to take the initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision, and be willing to attend appropriate training sessions.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or commercial areas.
- At least three years of relevant sales experience within the OTR and/or Industrial tires business and jointing areas is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of the Mining, construction and/or industrial market.
- Good oral and written communication ability, both in Portuguese and English.

Belo Horizonte, MG, Brazil (Feburary 24, 2010) – Brazilian investment and project management firm Top Ventures Investimentos S/A (TVISA) and Bittner Consultoria e Projetos Ltda (BCP) established today a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for cooperating in mining and industrial projects in South America, particularly in Bolivia, Brazil and Chile.

TVISA represents and manages a comprehensive portfolio of projects ranging from mining, renewable energy and industrial projects. In regards to mining, TVISA maintains several mineral tenements in Brazil for iron ore, copper and gold under the companies Mineração Novo Horizonte S/A, Brighton Mining & Resources (BMR) and Recursos Minerais do Brasil S/A (RMB).
